Photography is the medium that proves we all have a different take on life. Each individual takes a turn behind a lens, and a different image is created. This aspect is what I love most about photography, the unique essence of an image. I started taking mainly black and white photographs of simple things in an urban background: a leaf unscathed on a busy sidewalk, my feet sunning on a park bench. As I began to travel more, my photography turned to more large scale images. And now that my travels involve camping, hiking and kayaking, my photographs are primarily nature based focusing often on large vistas. I do not have fancy equipment, just a simple digital camera and basic software; I am very fortunate to explore places that are photogenic subjects.
